Jennifer Hohl
Jennifer was born and raised in Seattle, Washington where she won the Washington State Solo & Ensemble Festival as an alto soloist both her Junior and Senior years of high school. Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Brigham Young University. While attending BYU on a Voice Performance Scholarship she sang under the direction of Dr. Ronald Staheli, Dr. Mack Wilberg, and Dr. Ralph Woodward. During her tenure at BYU, Jennifer was asked to solo with the BYU University Singers, Men’s Choir, Concert Choir and A Capella choirs. Jennifer is known for her rich alto timbre and versatility and has performed as a soloist with the Utah Symphony, Dr. Brady Allred and the Utah Choral Arts Society and Dr. Michael Huff and the Utah Voices. Some performance highlights include: The Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (over 400 performances), the Witch in Into the Woods, Ruth in Pirates of Penzance, andDolly Levi in Hello Dolly. Jennifer has been a Vocal Coach for over twenty years and has been an adjunct professor at Weber State University and taught at the University of Utah. Jennifer lives just outside of Salt Lake City with her husband, four children, singing Beagle, Buster and darling but yappy Yorkshire Terrier, Chester.
